The Organ
One of the treasures of our musical life
The organ of St George’s is one of the treasures of our musical life.

Installed in the 19th century and enhanced over the years, it has accompanied generations of worshippers, choirs, and congregations, filling our sacred space with beauty, dignity, and awe. Its voice has been part of worship on this site since the days of Edward Bunting, our first organist.
Today, this historic instrument is in urgent need of restoration to preserve its voice for future generations. A project of this scale requires substantial funding, and we are seeking the support of all who value the musical and spiritual heritage of St George’s.
The Organ Restoration Appeal

Every donation, large or small, will help us ensure that this irreplaceable part of our worship continues to inspire for centuries to come.
